Settlement Indicators of October 2020
In October 2020, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 171 755 642.40 kWh, which represents 18% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricity has made up GEL 29 755 857.

From October 17, 2020, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “AUSTRIAN GEORGIAN DEVELOPMENT” LTD to take part in the wholesale trade as a Small Power Plant in the part of “LAKHAMI 1” HPP, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From October 16, 2020, the Electricity Market Operator has cancelled the registration of “AUSTRIAN GEORGIAN DEVELOPMENT” LTD, in the part of LAKHAMI 1 HPP, as a Power Plant - During the Test Run and/or a Comprehensive Testing and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
From October 15, 2020, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the“ADJARISTSQALI GEORGIA” LTD(in the part of “SKHALTA” HPP) to take part in the wholesale trade asPower Plant - During The Test Run And/Or Complex Testing, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
We would like to inform you that the JSC "Electricity System Commercial Operator” got acquainted with the proposals of companies participating in the expression of interest in the import of 120.35 million kWh of electricity from the Republic of Turkey to Georgia for the reporting period of November 2020, announced on October 5, 2020.
